Summer Learning Journey Week 1 Activity 1

New Zealand was once governed as part of the territory of New South Wales and later a part of Australia. The Auckland City Sky Tower is the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere at 328 meters high. 30% of the country is forest.

  1. Hi Mac

Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey for the 2018 summer. My name is Allie and I am the cluster manager for Toki Pounamu. I will be commenting on your blog over the summer. I am really looking forward to reading your blog over the summer.

You have made a great start to the programme. We live in a pretty cool place. We are luck that there are so many amazing things to see and do in New Zealand.
Have you been to Auckland and visited the Sky Tower? It is pretty amazing to go to the top and see the view all over Auckland.
I was a little scared of the glass floor at the top. It was funny to be able to see through the floor down to the street below. If you haven't been then you will have to put this on the list of things for you to do and places to visit!

Keep up the good work Mac!

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  2. Kia Ora Mac. I really like how you put your three different facts and put them about different topics. Nice work! I think that's it's really cool that we have so much forest in New Zealand. When you think about it, most things about New Zealand are interesting. Keep up the great work!
    And remember, just keep posting!
If you would like to go onto my blog, check out the link on my name. I am also doing the Summer Learning Journey.
